Emily earned her master’s degree in mental health counseling from the University of Massachusetts: Boston in 2017. Prior to this, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Roger Williams University in 2015.
Emily has extensive clinical experience working at the inpatient level of care in a multitude of settings, including substance abuse, adults with traumatic brain injuries, skilled nursing facilities, juvenile justice facilities, and crisis assessment/intervention in hospital and community settings.
Emily practices with a blend of the following therapeutic modalities: DBT, CBT, motivational-interviewing, solution-focused interventions, positive psychology, and trauma-informed care.
