At Bedrock Recovery Center, our aim is to empower our clients to break the cycle of addiction by identifying and addressing the root causes of their substance use and building the skills necessary for lasting recovery and wellness.
To do this, we work with you to determine your needs and goals in recovery and devise an individualized treatment plan, then monitor your progress, making adjustments as needed. We offer both evidence-based treatment options for addiction and holistic options for strengthening your recovery, overall health, and well-being.
Alcohol
For people experiencing alcohol abuse or dependence, formal treatment can significantly improve outcomes by addressing the physical, psychological, and social aspects of addiction.
At Bedrock, we begin with an assessment of your medical history and patterns of alcohol use, and an evaluation of any co-occurring disorders to develop a personalized treatment plan.
If you are experiencing alcohol dependence, we offer medically supervised detoxification. This process helps manage withdrawal symptoms for your safety and increased comfort.
You may also benefit from medications to reduce cravings and help maintain recovery. Our medication-assisted treatment (MAT) coordinator can discuss these options with you.
In addition, we offer evidence-based therapies and support groups for alcohol addiction, including:
- cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- motivational interviewing (MI)
- Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)
- SMART Recovery
Our robust aftercare planning also contributes to our proven track record of helping clients overcome alcohol use disorder.
Opioids
Opioid use disorder (OUD) is a complex condition influenced by many factors, including genetic predisposition, environmental circumstances, and individual vulnerabilities. BRC’s tailored treatment plans help ensure that clients’ individual needs and goals in recovery are met.
Our comprehensive treatment options for opioid addiction include detox, MAT services, individual and group therapy, and support services.
Holistic approaches such as yoga and other mindfulness-based practices and stress reduction techniques are also provided to encourage overall well-being and long-term recovery.
Benzodiazepines
According to the 2022 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), benzodiazepine misuse in 2022 was highest among young adults ages 18 to 25, with 2.4 percent of this age group (or 842,000 people) misusing these drugs.
Benzodiazepines are associated with a high risk of overdose deaths, particularly when knowingly or unknowingly combined with other substances, such as when fentanyl is cut into fake pills. Treating benzodiazepine addiction is crucial due to the serious health risks and other consequences associated with misuse of these medications.
At Bedrock Recovery Center, we offer evidence-based and holistic treatment services to help people overcome benzodiazepine abuse and addiction, including detox, behavioral therapy, support groups, and aftercare planning.
Methamphetamine
Methamphetamine use is associated with rapid physical effects, including weight loss, dental issues, and skin problems. In severe cases, meth use can lead to neurological impairments and death.
According to the 2022 NSDUH report, over 2.7 million people ages 12 and older in the U.S. reported using methamphetamines in the past 12 months, which was up slightly from the previous year.
At Bedrock Recovery Center, our goal is to provide timely treatment to reduce the risk of overdose and other associated health complications for people experiencing meth addiction.
Our supportive environment includes monitoring and management of withdrawal symptoms, other medical support, behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, peer support, and more, giving clients the tools they need for long-term recovery.
Cocaine
Often, the first step to treating cocaine addiction is detoxification. Supervision from trained medical staff during withdrawal makes the process safe and more comfortable.
At BRC, therapy may begin during withdrawal symptom management and include one-on-one sessions, group therapy, and family therapy. Clients transitioning to residential care will continue with therapy and other treatment options such as peer recovery groups, holistic therapy, and psychoeducation.
Our therapists can help you identify the underlying issues that led to your addiction, change unhelpful beliefs and behaviors, and develop healthy coping skills for stressful situations and difficult emotions.
Other Stimulants
Cocaine and other stimulants are substances that increase alertness, energy, and attention. People can develop an addiction to or dependence on these drugs, which can have significant health consequences.
At Bedrock, we treat stimulant addictions involving:
- prescription amphetamines, such as Adderall and Ritalin
- MDMA (or ecstasy, also considered a psychedelic drug)
- phentermine
- bath salts
- crack cocaine
- khat
- synthetic stimulants (designer drugs)
People with stimulant addictions may benefit from medical detox, for access to professional medical and clinical supervision, care, and support during withdrawal.
Additionally, we offer group therapy sessions and peer support groups to provide a supportive environment where people can share their experiences, learn from one another, and build community.
Marijuana
If you can’t stop using marijuana despite the negative effects it’s causing in your life, you may have a marijuana addiction. People who use marijuana can also become dependent on it, or experience withdrawal symptoms when they stop using the drug.
Bedrock Recovery Center stands out as a leading facility that provides comprehensive and individualized substance abuse treatment for marijuana addiction and dependence.
We understand that each person’s experience with addiction is unique, and our center tailors treatment plans to meet the specific needs of people having difficulty stopping their use of marijuana.
Evidence-based behavioral therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) along with supportive options like group therapy are integral components of our treatment approach.
These sessions can help you identify and address the underlying causes of your marijuana abuse, develop healthy habits, and build a foundation for sustained recovery.
Psychedelics
At Bedrock Recovery Center, we provide compassionate and effective treatment for people seeking to overcome substance abuse involving psychedelics, such as ecstasy, acid, or PCP.
Although these substances generally do not cause physical dependence and come with a low risk for developing an addiction, any type of drug can be abused.
Psychedelic use comes with particular risks for people with mental health disorders. Dual diagnosis care at BRC can help people get to the root of their substance use and mental health disorders through evidence-based care.
Evidence-based behavioral therapy can help you identify unhelpful beliefs and change unwanted behaviors, taking back control of your life.
